The paper considers a new type of optic fiber cores representing capillaries with large aperture and controlled parameters. The authors carry out a theoretical analysis of the dispersion curves of electromagnetic radiation in capillary fibers doped with rare-earth ions (erbium, ytterbium, and thulium). The Lorentz model is used for describing polariton curves in homogeneous mediums doped with rare-earth ions. The dispersion dependences of polariton and axion-polariton waves in the infrared band are determined. It is done on the basis of interaction between electromagnetic waves and resonance electronic ion states of erbium, ytterbium, and thulium, both in the presence and absence of a magnetic field.
