Results are given of the experimental study of radiation and gas-dynamics processes of the pulse and pulse-periodical optical break-down at typical laser frequencies of the ultra-violet and short infrared range and generation of laser detonation waves under the laser ablation of polymer and metal targets in vacuum and gaseous media with some limited pressure and complex chemical composition.
