Estimation of Parameters of Nonlinearity of Intermolecul Interaction Based on Percus–Yevick Equation

Using the state equation, obtained from Percus-Yevick equation for a model of solid spheres, dependences of parameters of the second and third order nonlinearity upon the package density are derived. A general equation for the estimation of the acoustic parameter of the third order nonlinearity is obtained on the basis of the second order nonlinearity parameter and its dependences on temperature and pressure. For some organic liquids and liquefied gases, using the obtained dependences, values of the nonlinearty acoustic parameters are calculated, and it is ascertained that they are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.
