Relying on the examination of evaluated nuclear data files and the investigation of regularities of a periodic change in nuclear-physical properties of atomic nuclei, the simple methods for the nuclear stability analysis based on creation of stability triangles are offered. The conclusion is drawn on possible existence of three islands of stability (rather than two ones predicted earlier) in a region of the transactinides that lie in apices of one of such triangles. It is shown that an island of stability can be generated round a magic nucleus of the 126th element with a mass number of 342. This island can be elongated in the direction of the larger number of neutrons.
