Parametric oscillations are investigated for the hydro-elastic system that represents a long direct pipeline blinded at one end, filled with nonviscous incompressible medium and loaded by the internal pressure having both constant and variable constituents. The parametric resonance is studied that is caused by changes of the moment of inertia of the section and mass (per unit length) of liquid which occur because of small deformations of the pipeline cross section under the variable pressure. In the first approximation, boundaries of an area of parametric resonance instability are found and conditions of their existence, and the influence of the pipeline parameters on areas of the resonance instability is investigated.
