Wave Features of Dynamics of Discrete Systems

Wave effects in continuous homogeneous and discrete systems are considered such as traveling wave propagation, their reflection and creation of standing waves which determine the dynamical stress loading of the mechanical system. Peculiarities of these discrete systems are analyzed. The wave characteristics of discrete systems and methods of allowance for them in analysis of dynamical loads are given.
