Details of Application of Initial Stress Method for Solving Non-Linear Problems of Deformed Solid Body Mechanics

An algorithm of the initial stress method is considered to solve the elasticity and plasticity problems by the finite element method. The algorithm is developed according to the consecutive loading method with stress-and-strain condition being analyzed both in the beginning of the current loading step and during the iteration process.
