A mathematical model is presented to study the influence of the superficial mass transfer upon the flow about the axis-symmetrical bodies of rotation and their aerodynamic characteristics at hypersonic velocities when the intensity of the gas insufflation along the body generatrix is variable and distributed according to heat fluxes to the body surface which determine the ablation intensity of the ablator.
