Using Fuzzy Set Approach to Estimation of Quality of Pretenders

Aspects of using the fuzzy logic theory for defining a criterion of university entrant selection and their professional skills preliminary estimation are discussed. The method of formal description of fuzzy task parameters allows obtaining valid decisions by means of using special fuzzy metrics. Quantitative and qualitative factors are considered in the metrics during the entrant selection process carried out by experts.
