Conditions are discussed under which new thermoelectrokinetic phenomena form, such as cross-phenomena if transfer of mass, heat and electric charge is available in the electroconductive medium. An experimental technique to research the predicted thermoelectrokinetic effect is developed, which provides the reliable measurement of the thermoelectrokinetic voltage. Experimental researches of the thermoelectrokinetic effect and the influence of concurrent electrochemical, electrokinetic and thermoelectric effects on it in weak solutions of acetic acid and sodium sulfate are performed. Quantitative determination of the thermoelectrokinetic voltage and its dependence on the speed of electrolyte flow are conducted.
